FAQ
Questions we hear often
Can't find your answer? Send us a message and we'll reply within one business day.
Does my business need to register for Corporate Tax?
Most UAE businesses, including free zone companies, must register for Corporate Tax, even if they expect to pay 0%. The standard rate is 9% on taxable profit above AED 375,000. We'll confirm your obligations and deadlines on the discovery call.
When do I need to register for VAT?
VAT registration is mandatory once your taxable supplies go over AED 375,000 in the previous 12 months, or are expected to within the next 30 days. You can also register voluntarily from AED 187,500.
What is goAML and who needs it?
goAML is the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit's platform for anti-money laundering reporting. Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions must register on it. These include real estate brokers, dealers in precious metals and stones, and corporate service providers.
How does UAE e-invoicing affect my business?
The UAE is phasing in mandatory structured e-invoicing through Accredited Service Providers. We check whether your current systems are ready, help you choose a provider and handle the integration.
Which accounting software do you work with?
We work in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero and Tally. If you're not using any software yet, we'll recommend the right one and set it up for you.
How is your pricing structured?
Most clients pay a fixed monthly fee based on how many transactions they have and which services they use. One-off projects, such as registrations or a backlog clean-up, are quoted up front.
